The first day of the 2022 Men’s and Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs has kicked off at the Victoria Golf Club with a bang. Harrison Crowe led the Men’s morning field with a 4 under par and maintained his lead at the end of round 1. 
 
In the Women’s morning field, Pantita Phobubpa also finished with a 4 under par and sustained her round 1 lead. Closely followed by Jeneath Wong who finished with 2 under, sinking a birdie on the 18^th to finish her round.  
 
The day started with calm conditions, but the wind picked up gradually throughout the day, making it difficult for the afternoon field. Despite this, Luke Ferrier was able to shoot a 3 under, closely followed by Justin Morley and Chris Somerfield at 2 under.
