Day 1 Highlights

The first day of the 2021 Men’s and Women’s Australian Master of the Amateurs has kicked off at the Victoria Golf Club with a bang. The conditions were tough today, with strong wind and rain throughout the entire day.
Despite the weather, Konrad Ciupek shot a (4 under) to claim day 1 leader, followed closely behind by Phoenix Campbell at (3 under) and Lucas Michel at 2 under. The women’s championship is also close, with Lion Higo at (1 under), followed closely by Alexandra Hilliard, Justice Bosio and Hyejun Park at (2 over). The next three days will be highly competitive, with only 20 players 5 shots back from the leader.
